Over 30 years in broadcasting and nightclubs.
It all started in 1964 as a "school reporter" for WMFJ-AM in Daytona Beach. From there he worked his way through most of the radio stations in the Daytona Beach area before hitting the road working at WTOC-TV in Savannah, GA, KSOP AM & FM in Salt Lake City, Utah and other stations in California, New York, Maryland, and back to Georgia. In 1982. he began working part-time for a country music club in the Daytona Beach area and loved it and ended up working the next 20 some odd years in clubs around the Daytona Beach area, in Deland, FL and Orlando.
An Air Force Veteran.
Serving in the United States Air Force, he was stationed at Amarillo, TX, Ramstein AFB in Germany, Tan Son Nhut AFB in Vietnam and at the Ubon Royal Thai Airbase in Thailand.
A member of numerous organization.
A Life member of The American Legion (Post 17 in New Smyrna Beach, FL), Veterans of Foreign Wars (Post 3282 in Port Orange, FL) and Disabled American Veterans (Post 82 in Holly Hill, FL), he is also a member of the Harley Owner's Group (New Smyrna Beach Chapter), Rolling Thunder (Founder and former board member of Florida Chapter 8), The Tennessee Squires, Country Music Association, American DJ Association, and more.

In his spare time....
With what "spare time" he has available, Dusty loves to ride his 2012 Harley-Davidson Ultra Classic Limited, his fourth "big" Harley. His wife Gloria can usually be found riding in the back seat as they ride with their friends around central Florida, to Washington, DC and into the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina.
